Silvery Sea

This original photo is a view of an approaching storm, seen from the island of Caye Caulker.  “Key Cauk” is off the coast of Belize, about 20 miles, very near the 2nd large Barrier Reef on the planet.  It’s a beautiful, yet tiny island, full of incredibly friendly people and interesting culture. The food there is fantastic too.  Many artisans live and work on the island, making jewelry, pottery, and lots of art.  There is even an art store on the island which doubles as a coffee shop, (right next door to a wonderful ice cream shop).  I hope to go back some day, but it’s a long way from Minnesota.  The photo was taken in 2007.  A matted print of this photo is available for $25.00 + $5.00 shipping.  Click below to order and specify the Dark version or the Light version.
