Caves of Phosphorous

This is a small painting done in 2010, and basically a scene of war. White phosphorous is a weapon, disguised as a chemical shield in order to make it legal to use in war. It’s a particularly horrible weapon, literally burning the flesh off people it comes in contact with. It was used extensively in Fallujah by the US, and also in Gaza by the IDF. The cancer rates in Fallujah are now higher than those in Hiroshima after WWII. (According to the book “War is a Lie” by David Swanson).

This original painting is available for sale, and it’s also available as a print. It’s acrylic on canvas, varnished and with painted sides. You can order below. As always, use the Contact page for inquiries into anything here not itemized for sale.
